Volunteer Positions Available:
Event Coordinator:
Help plan and organize school events such as Family Fun Nights, Fundraisers, and Teacher Appreciation Week. This role involves coordinating with vendors, managing event logistics, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.Membership Chair:
Lead efforts to recruit and retain PTA members. This position involves organizing membership drives, managing membership databases, and communicating the benefits of joining the PTA to parents and teachers.Fundraising Chair:
Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support PTA initiatives. This role includes managing fundraising campaigns, coordinating with local businesses, and tracking donations.Volunteer Coordinator:
Recruit, organize, and manage volunteers for various PTA activities and events. This position is key in ensuring that all events are well-staffed and that volunteers feel valued and appreciated.Communications Chair:
Oversee all PTA communications, including newsletters, social media, and the PTA website. This role involves ensuring that parents and teachers are informed about upcoming events, meetings, and other PTA activities.Advocacy Chair:
Represent the PTA in advocating for policies that benefit students, teachers, and the school community. This position may involve attending school board meetings, coordinating with local legislators, and keeping the community informed about relevant issues.Secretary:
Keep accurate records of all PTA meetings, including minutes and agendas. This role is crucial for ensuring transparency and effective communication within the PTA.Treasurer:
Manage the PTA’s budget, including tracking expenses, processing payments, and preparing financial reports. The Treasurer ensures that all financial practices are in compliance with PTA guidelines.Reflections Program Chair:
Coordinate the National PTA’s Reflections Arts Program at your school. This role involves encouraging student participation, organizing judging panels, and celebrating student achievements in the arts.Room Parent Coordinator:
Act as a liaison between teachers and parents to organize classroom activities, parties, and communication. This role helps to ensure strong connections between the school and home.
